Special NeedsThe most important thing to remember with (most) special needs children is that they learn an objection/problem if it's shown to them in a way that they understand. Yes, it does take time and a strong will (on the parents part) to explore the many ways of showing a child something that he/she just cannot get. Children are learning DELAYED instead of learning DISABLED.
SpecialHomeschoolers USA
If you are homeschooling special needs children in the USA, you are welcome regardless of your religious affiliations. However please understand that this is a Christian based support group and email loop. We do advocate prayer for our children and our families. We will share resources, curriculum ideas, support and prayer if needed and always when requested. :-)
