ABC's
"For whosoever shall call
upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
Romans 10:13
The dictionary defines
salvation as:
1. deliverance
2. saving from harm, destruction, or loss
3. protecting from harm, destruction, or loss
4. redemption
But what does
GOD'S WORD say about
salvation?
it says it is deliverance from sin,
deliverance from Satan and hell,
JESUS CHRIST, the
SON OF GOD shall save and protect you from eternal harm, eternal destruction
(hell), and eternal loss (of your soul which shall burn in hell for all time).
Jesus is our redeemer.
How can you do this?
You need to Admit,
Believe, & Confess,
which is also known as the ABC's of Salvation.
Admit that
you're a sinner in need of God.
"If we say that we have no sin, we
deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us." 1 John 1:8
"As it is
written, There is none righteous, no, not one:" Romans 3:10
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"
Romans 3:23
Believe that
Jesus died and rose again for your sins.
"For God so loved the world, that he
gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish,
but have everlasting life." John 3:16
"And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou
shalt be saved, and thy house." Acts 16:31
Confess Jesus
as Lord of your life.
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful
and just to forgive our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
1 John 1:9
"That if
thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine
heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." Romans
10:9
"But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become
the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:" John 1:12
